TERMS

The terms we work under. Plain English versions of what is in the engagement letter you sign.

01

The engagement

Work is confirmed by a signed engagement letter or an accepted written quote. That document sets the scope, the fee, and the dates. These terms apply alongside it and the engagement letter wins where the two disagree.

02

The three month term

Every engagement begins with a three month contract, and that three month term is final. Fees are invoiced monthly, payable at the beginning of each month, not as a lump sum up front. All three months are owed whether or not the work continues, if you end the engagement part way through, the remaining months are still owed. In the last 30 days of the term you tell us whether you want to continue. If you are happy with the work we agree terms for the next period; if not, the engagement ends at the close of the three months with nothing further owed.

03

Project work

Creative direction is scoped and quoted per project. Fees are billed 50% on booking and 50% on delivery. Booking fees hold the dates and are non-refundable if you cancel inside 14 days of a shoot.

04

Approvals and turnaround

Nothing is published without your approval. Where approval is not given within two working days of a request, the studio may hold the calendar until it is. Two rounds of revisions are included per deliverable.

05

Ownership

You own the final delivered assets once the invoice is paid in full. The studio keeps ownership of working files, project files, and unused concepts, and may show the work in its portfolio unless you ask in writing that it does not.

06

Third-party costs

Talent, licensed music, props, locations, travel, and paid media are billed at cost and approved by you in advance. Platform fees and ad spend are paid by you directly.

07

Results

The studio does not guarantee reach, follower growth, or sales. Figures quoted on this site are past results for named clients and are not a promise of the same outcome.

08

Liability

The studio is liable only for direct loss caused by its own work, capped at the fees paid in the three months before the claim. It is not liable for lost profit, lost data, or the actions of a platform.

09

Law

These terms are governed by the law of the jurisdiction named in your engagement letter, and disputes go to the courts of that jurisdiction.
